18 Sleeps and Counting

Introducing...
Lloyd and Jeanette Glover
This is our 4th trip to Brazil with For We Care. Friends who have been 5 times encouraged us to join them. We are glad to have the opportunity to join this venture. It has been a privilege to meet and work with the people on each team. Each time we have come away with out lives enriched.
Brazil is a beautiful country, the people are warm and friendly and their faith is strong!
We have been blessed each time we go, we look forward to going again.

Lloyd is an electrician. He will help with whatever electrical needs to be done and of course with whatever else needs to be done.

Jeanette (Rt in picture above) is a home maker and works retail at The Bay. She will do whatever, painting, cutting rebar, cleaning up, hauling brick, a go-for just like at home!

Thanks for checking in and please keep checking in as introductions are only just starting.

21 Sleeps and counting

Welcome to the first official For We Care (FWC) Brazil 2012 blog! As departure day, March 16th, is fast approaching I will begin to introduce team members to you on a regular basis. I will also, as details become finalized, present the project and random facts about Brazil, Florianopolis, and our travels to you. So thanks in advance for reading and your support.
First to be introduced...
Jeff & Anita Reichel

Hi! My name is Anita Reichel. I live in Trochu AB with my husband Jeff, who I happened to meet on this very missions trip 2 years ago. I work at the Red Deer Hospital as an RN.
Two years ago was my first time being in Brazil. I enjoyed my experience beyond a short introductions worth and therefore can simply say I am so excited about having the oppurtunity to go once again. I'm most excited to see what God will do and the doors He will open. I decided to go into nursing 9 years ago because I wanted a practical way to show God's love to others. I am passionate about this trip because that is exactly what we do, we practically serve the people of Brazil buy building and serving them in a way they are unable to do for themselves.

I (Jeff) work on the family farm and grew up in the Trochu area. This is my 4th trip to Brazil with FWC. I am especially greatful for my last trip where I met my wife Anita who I love very much.
I am looking forward to the beaches, warm weather and sun, but more so, seeing the Rehab facility completed to a self sustaining level.
We are so excited to be going on this adventure once again.

Please pray for each team member that is going as we prepare for departure, that our hearts would be open to the work God wants to do both in us and those we interact with while there.
To God be the Glory!
