Departure Day!

Leaving behind...

And saying hello to...

It is Friday, March 16 and we are just finishing up getting packed and will shortly be headed to the airport to meet up as a group before flying off. (minus Byron & Julie)  Our first flight is Departing Edmonton at 4:00pm and we arrive in Toronto at 9:44 pm.  After a short 2 hour layover we will be back in the air at 11:30 pm on our longer stretch over the ocean.  After hopefully finding a way to get a little bit of sleep on the airplane we will be desending down to the tarmack in Sao Paulo, Brazil around 10:30 am.  There we will meet up with our final team members Byron and Julie and have some time to adjust to the climate as we have 5 hours until we catch our final flight to Florianopolis.  At 5:00 pm we reach our final destination city of Florianopolis where I am sure we will be met by the smiling faces of Ron & Alana Greenwich. A short drive to the hotel and a quick freshen up before going across the street for some supper.  And that is a quick rundown of the next 24+ hours. With the 3 hour time change I am sure we will be ready to get to bed and looking forward to a nights rest in a comfy?, hotel bed.
